My name is Paul Tafoya, my kennel name is A-Sauce Bullies. I also own Dirty Q Photography and A-Sauce Graphics. I started out in the bully world in 2012 when I purchased my first bully named DCP’s Capo Guera the Boss Bitch. She was the dog that taught me a few hard lessons and gave me the confidence and patience to handle a dog in the show ring, she was also the dog that made me realize that I benefit from an emotional support dog for my anxiety. While showing her I met my mentor, Nate from Shaolin Kennels.

 

  Not long after I started showing dogs my oldest son, Elias, decided he wanted to step into the show ring as well. That was a very happy time for me to see my son want to follow in my footsteps and have the same love for the breed and show ring. CapoGuera was a big dog so we went and purchased his very own puppy named BTK Brenda Boom, she was only eight (8) weeks old. As soon as we brought her home, we started working to get her trained and show ready.

 

  She earned her ABKC champion title at nine (9) months old and became New Mexico’s youngest champion. She also produced, off her first litter, New Mexico’s first dual champion A-Sauces Johnny Rocket, who was also #1 top dog in the USBR in 2017 and she also produced from the same litter ABKC champion A-Sauces Ridin' Low Like a "Cholo".

 

  I was introduced to a few people who put their trust in my skills and my son’s skills as a dog handler. From there, we started traveling as a team to various ABKC shows around the United States and between both my son and I, we have handled approximately nine (9) dogs to their champion titles and also, five (5) of those dogs have went on to earn their dual champion titles in the USBR as well as ABKC. I have handled a few dogs to their Best in Show winnings as well as a few Reserve Best in Show winnings. Not only did I handle my production to the #1 Top dog spot in USBR in 2017 but I also handled a clients dog to the #4 Top dog spot in 2018 in USBR as well.

 

  After traveling to a few shows with just my oldest son in tow, my second oldest decided he was ready to step into the ring as well. Both of my boys have been in the Top 10 Junior Handler list at one point in time or another with the ABKC. My next two youngest children have expressed interest in Junior handling as well and enter the show ring in multiple fun shows that we host.

 

  A few of us kennels from here in New Mexico have put together a team called “Bound by the Breed” and we host fun shows at various locations throughout the year and are trying to recruit others to start attending and entering their dogs in the show ring also.

 

  I am available for dog training sessions ,any professional photography sessions, graphic designer for logos, banners or any other graphic designs needs.
